About me…

For there to be genuine connection, a little vulnerability is required. Below is a brief roadmap of where I’ve journeyed to get to this moment with you.

I support individuals and organizations as they move through life’s liminal transitions — those in-between seasons full of uncertainty and possibility. As a coach and evaluator, I hold space to gently harvest the gifts found in these pauses, nurturing insight, meaning, and subtle growth that unfolds in its own time.

As a gay certified life coach with a background in biochemistry, pharmacology, and mixed-methods program evaluation, I bring both analytical rigor and deep emotional intelligence to my work. Over the past decade, I’ve worn many hats — scientist, evaluator, academic administrator, coach — and navigated the burnout and misalignment that can come from trying to do it all. Those experiences taught me that alignment matters as much as achievement, and that transformation begins with pausing to listen — especially to ourselves as we navigate the journey towards inner trust.

My own journey has been shaped by moments of both triumph and challenge: leading high-impact programs with limited resources, advocating and co-building pathways, and finding my voice even when it meant standing alone. I know what it is to outwork your circumstances, to give your whole heart to your community, and still face systems that underestimate you. These lived experiences are why I show up for my clients with compassion, directness, and an unwavering belief in their journey. They taught me professional growth is inseparable from personal growth — and that leadership rooted in values will always lead to aligned decisions.

In coaching, I create a warm, collaborative space where you can pause, reflect, and reimagine what’s possible. Together, we uncover what’s working, what needs shifting, and how to move forward — one intentional step at a time. My clients often include emerging leaders in STEMM, healthcare, and education — often LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC—who are navigating transitions, rediscovering their voice, and stepping into authentic leadership.

As an evaluator, I partner with mission-driven organizations to tell their stories with integrity. My approach centers equity, lived experience, and complexity—measuring not just outcomes, but impact. This work has contributed to securing over $28 million in funding for equity-centered initiatives in the Dayton region.

The origami crane is my personal symbol — a reminder that transformation happens fold by fold, season by season. Whether you’re leading a team, navigating a career shift, or seeking clarity in your next chapter, I’m here to walk alongside you as you unfold what’s next. Together, we’ll tend the soil, nurture what’s growing, and harvest the lessons.

My Core Values

  • Community

    aka the neighborhood:

the spaces beyond the house, where we can tap into a feeling of home — a place not bound by walls, but by connection; it is where we show up authentically, laugh loudly, love deeply, mourn collectively, and heal together — a living, breathing reminder that we are not meant to journey alone

  • Authenticity

    (defined by Dr. Brene Brown)

a daily practice of letting go of who we think we're supposed to be and embracing who we are, including our imperfections and vulnerabilities

  • Love

(derived from the work of bell hooks)

the will to extend one’s self to nurture one’s own or another’s spiritual growth; an intentional connection

         My Mission

My mission is to support individuals and organizations in harvesting the insight and strength held within transitional seasons — through coaching and evaluation that honor complexity, deepen connection, and guide purposeful, values-aligned growth.

"Caminante, no hay camino. (Traveler, there is no path.) Se hace camino al andar. (The path must be forged as you walk.)"
